Plan for space
By admin | September 2, 2008
Cabinet vanities must not only be stylish and dramatic but also provide the much needed space for storing bath, grooming, toiletries and towel essentials. It’s amazing how people just consider the surface details but forget to plan for basic storage space.
Bathroom cabinets normally range from 18 to 48 inches with around 6 inch increments. These vanities come in a wide range of finishes: oak, maple, walnut, lacquer and acrylic. They can be wall-mounted, free-standing, open shelves or built in closets or tall basket towers. Wall-mounted cabinets are great for saving space.
Bottom line: Bathroom remodeling is also space planning.

Cabinet sinks

While pedestal sinks are compact and space-saving, cabinet vanities are sturdy and offer a classic elegance to not only the bathroom but to the entire house. Cabinet sinks are more suited to older houses which had huge rooms to accommdate these types of fixtures.

The best kind of sink
By admin | August 13, 2008

Hi! I’m considering a small bathroom remodel starting with my sink. These are 2 kinds of bathroom vanities i am thinking about. One is a glass counter with a stainless steel utility sink. The other is a mirror, cabinet and sink combination. Are there advantages of one over the other? Thanks!
