Wood bathroom vanities

Wood gives the bathroom a warm, yet refreshing ambience and appearance. The neat thing about wood is that when combined with other materials, it can change the bathroom from rustic to avante garde.

Whether reminiscent of the Victorian era or just a solid contemporary finish, wood is a great contrast to any kind of countertop: acrylic, limestone, surgical glass, granite or marble. Black and white finish, glass top, Blum drawer slides and rectangle sink are the hallmarks of a modern bathroom.  Ornate carved moldings and doors are characteristic of much older vanities.

Kiln dried birchwood, honey oak or cherry wood that has been chemically treated will show the solid grain textures while being resistant to warping.
